Sound is humanity's oldest medicine. Pythagoras spoke of three kinds of sound—cosmic, natural, and human. When the body is out tuned with the cosmic and nature, we fall into illnesses. Ancient Chinese medicine placed music at the origin of healing itself - predating herbal medicine. Ayurveda holds AUM as the seed of creation. In Sanskrit, Anāhata (the heart chakra) means “unstruck”—the inner note that sounds without being hit, a reminder that the heart is tuned as much by resonance as by force.

THE HUMAN BODY IS A SYMPHONY OF SOUND, and all of its organs and cells vibrate and communicate with one another in waveforms. In comparative experiments with the same number of identical flowers in equal amounts of water, you can witness the wonder of nature’s soundscapes. The flowers grown without nature sounds (on the left side of both pictures) showed no signs of life, and the water turned muddy brown, while the flowers exposed to nature sounds (on the right side of both pictures) demonstrated great vitality—even new branches began to grow. Above all, the water remained clean and clear. This is the power of sound on life and health.
